hgkc Xmas Breakfast Mingle - where in the world were you!

We were really excited to be hosting our annual Xmas Mingle for clients and friends at Yeo Valley Venues again this year - and once again we were wowed by the excellent service and food. Our guests seemed to have a great time too - just look at their smiles as they took part in our now legendary snowball fight!

Each year, we hold a fun event to raise money for our chosen charity, and for the last 3 years, this has been the snowball fight! But this year, we decided to sell flags. Each guest received 2 flags in exchange for their donation. They wrote their name on one side, where in the world they are from, and where in the world they’d like to be, on the other. Then they stuck them into the map. Flags popped up all over the world - from Frome to Buenos Aires, Mere to Melbourne, Torquay to Toronto, Israel to New Zealand, Stoke On Trent to Sydney; by way of Paris, Mansonville (France), Mere, Cape Tribulation, Belize, Port Napoleon, Ottery St Mary, Whistler BC, Bridgewater, Brazil, New York, Los Roques, Caracas, Nepal, Ross on Wye, Greenland, Plymouth, Harptree, Chengdu and Peru. Who knew we covered so much of the globe?

We are delighted to have raised over £200 for St Peter’s Hospice - it’s where in this world our friend Mary Cook, who did our fabulous branding for us earlier this year, spent her last days before sadly passing away in the summer. She would have loved the snowball fight!
