hgkc's Christmas Breakfast
On the 8th of December hgkc celebrated Christmas with friends and clients by hosting a delicious breakfast at Mediterranevm at Congresbury owned by hgkc client Leo Gallani. Acquiring the property in 2017, they have built a fabulous, Roman style, dining experience, with hand-painted murals and stunning paintings of Mediterranean vineyards, coastlines, and lakeside scenery.
With everyone donning their Christmas jumpers, we gathered together to celebrate surviving the past year and the successes everyone had accomplished. The Christmas Mingle brought everyone together, some for the first time since the pandemic began and Peter and Kim welcomed everyone with open arms.
Unfortunately, this year, the annual snowball fight was unable to take place, however, they set a new challenge for everyone. To write down their BHAGs for 2022. BHAGs meaning their Big Hairy Audacious Goals. This could be business related or personal and Peter selected a few out of the ‘hat’ to share with the group.
Leo and his team at Mediterranevm provided a delicious spread of pastries and fruits, as well a, serving his amazing breakfasts of either Scrambled Eggs with streaky bacon, avocado or smoked salmon, Italian Sausage flavoured with fennel and served with caramelised onion, or Smashed Avocado on toast, all served on sourdough bread. There was an endless supply of teas, coffees and juices with fresh fruit and yoghurt available for those who wanted it.
All in all, it was an extremely enjoyable event. Everyone had an amazing start to their day and celebrated Christmas early with us at hgkc.
